In addition to the redesign, both the base and RS versions feature ergonomic differences: the standard Speed Twin 1200 has higher and more advanced handlebars, while the RS adopts a sportier posture with a raised seat and rear-set footpegs.
The suspension also differs, with the basic 1200 equipped with Marzocchi shocks, while the RS gets Öhlins rear shocks.
The upgrades continue with the brakes and tires. The Speed Twin 1200 has 320 mm discs and Triumph calipers, paired with Metzeler Sportec M9RR tires, while the RS comes with Brembo Stylema brakes and Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tires, more focused on performance.
The 1200 cc engine, present in both versions, received a power boost, now delivering 103.5 hp and 11.4 kgfm of torque. The RS also includes a Sport riding mode and quickshifter, enhancing the sporty riding experience. Moreover, both versions come equipped with Road and Rain riding modes, as well as cornering ABS and traction control. The dashboard combines LCD and TFT displays, with brushed aluminum detailing.
Triumph announced that the Speed Twin 2025 lineup will arrive at North American dealerships in December 2024, with prices ranging from $13,595 to $15,995, depending on the model.
